Alison Schwartz, a tattooed librarian and dyed hair enthusiast, has written on topics as diverse as “Teen Reads for Adults,” and the popularity of Downton Abbey. Before obtaining a MLIS from LIU at CW Post with a focus in Young Adult Literature, she worked in public libraries for close to a decade.

Her professional experience involves working in one of the largest libraries in NY state as well as one of the smallest in New England as a Teen Librarian.
